The Opportunity
We’re looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to join our fast-growing team. Your role will focus on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities for our B2B exhibitions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional looking to break into sales and events — or for someone with a bit of experience ready to take their next step.
What really sets this role apart is the fast development path. High performers are regularly promoted within 12–18 months into senior sales, account management or leadership roles, with full training and support throughout.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify potential clients across a wide range of sectors
Generate and qualify leads via outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
Book and coordinate meetings for senior sales executives
Build and manage a consistent sales pipeline
Present and communicate the benefits of our events to prospective clients
Meet and exceed individual and team KPIs
Work closely with marketing and operations teams on campaign execution
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with a proactive, results-driven mindset
Confident on the phone and able to build relationships quickly
Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Degree qualified or equivalent experience welcomed but not essential
What You’ll Get
$56,000 AUD base salary
Uncapped commission with realistic Year 1 OTE of $90,000 – $110,000 AUD
